Lessons and Specialties

I teach a variety of students, age, school, abilities, etc. My goal throughout my lessons is to grow each of my students musically, vocally, and as a person. This is done through warm ups, music theory, sight reading, learning a variety of music, and performance skills. I hope that my students walk away encouraged, ready to learn more, and excited about what they are doing and who they are.

MUSIC THEORY/SIGHT SINGING

I believe it is important that students understand the music they are seeing in front of them or hearing whether it be at a concert, on the radio, or what they are singing to in the car. I provide skills and tools to learn music theory and how to sight sing/sight read.

 FUNDAMENTALS

There are basics and foundations to everything we do whether it is drive a car or are building a tower. The same is true for singing and music in general and these things whether it be how do we breath, to how do we stand when we sing will be taught in voice lessons.

TECHNIQUE

It is important to know how to sing no matter the style you are singing in. Learning what is happening inside your body and outside of your body while you sing will only improve your ability to sing.
